Who We Are
We understand choosing a hearing care provider is a big decision. At Chicago Hearing Care, our number one priority is delivering exceptional patient care. Our experienced staff is well-trained in a variety of services ranging from evaluations to treatment.
We believe great care includes establishing great relationships with our patients. Treating hearing loss is an ongoing process that requires regular follow-ups, maintenance and cleanings to keep you hearing your best. Our staff is here to support you not only during your initial visit but throughout your entire journey to better hearing.
Meet Our Provider
Alejandra Ullauri
AUDIOLOGIST / AU.D.
Dr. Ullauri is an audiologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing disorders in the pediatric and adult population. She holds a Doctorate degree in audiology from the University of Florida, a Master’s degree in audiology from Flinders University of South Australia, and a Master’s degree in Public Health from Universidad San Francisco de Quito. She is certified by the American Board of Audiology in Cochlear Implants.
Dr. Ullauri has held audiology positions in England, Ecuador, and the United States. Prior to opening Chicago Hearing Care in 2016, Dr. Ullauri was the Manager of Audiology at the University of Chicago Medicine. Currently, she serves as a Subject Matter Expert at the National Center for Health, Behavioral Health and Safety where she conducts trainings in hearing screening methods. Dr. Ullauri is also the Vice-president of the Board of Directors of Child’s Voice, a school for children with hearing loss in Chicago.
Dr. Ullauri is bilingual (English/Spanish). She is the author of Audiology Services in Diverse Communities, a book for English speaking clinicians providing hearing services to Spanish speaking patients and families. Dr. Ullauri is deeply committed to helping reduce the health disparity gap in the Latino community.
