Chicago Hearing Care is dedicated to helping children with a hearing loss at a local, national, and global level.
How do we help? We help through donations and volunteer work!
Dr. Ullauri volunteers as a Board member at Child’s Voice and as a pediatric audiologist at The Global Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss.
- Child’s Voice offers educational and audiology services to children with hearing loss and their families, offering them the tools and skills necessary for success in both school and social settings. Programs serve children from birth through the age of 8, on-site. Additional programs support graduates in their mainstream home schools, and offer audiology services through the age of 21.
- The Global Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss runs training programs for Audiologists and Speech Therapists in developing countries. Dr. Ullauri volunteers as a pediatric audiologist during these missions helping create, translate, and deliver training resources.
- Illinois Hands & Voices is a parent-driven organization that supports families of children diagnosed with a hearing loss. It connects them to other families, local services, advocacy trainings, and other hearing related services.
